Football gossip is akin to your bloodstream. You may be addicted to one team, yet you still need to read about every other club on the planet. You read the football pages of the newspapers first. The walls of your home are covered in posters of your favourite players, and your children, if you ever had time to have any, are named after some bloke who played for your club in the 60's."
